WLAN disconnecting

Hi,

I have a problem, with a M7200 device (disconnections, "Current channel is not save ,restart Wlan to avoid" and related errors, etc.). I have a lot of other wifi networks around me.

Some details about my device:

Model: M7200

Firmware Version: 2.0.6 Build 201020 Rel.1008n

Hardware Version: M7200(EU) v2.0

My firmware is up-to-date, from what the "Firmware Update" page says...

Thanks a lot.

Multiple factors might cause your Wi-Fi to disconnect automatically. Please try the following steps for troubleshooting first:

    1. Disable Power Saving Mode on Advanced -> Power Saving page

    2. Change the Wi-Fi channel from Auto to static one on the Advanced -> Wireless -> Basic Settings page

    3. Set 4G LTE band(s) manually on Advanced -> Dial-up -> Network Settings page. Here is a FAQ for your reference: How to select 4G band manually via Web interface on TP-Link Mobile Wi-Fi devices

Should I try this solution (already from 2021, 3 years old) or do I risk destroying the router? Thanks for your quick help, the disconnections are a nightmare
