Model: TL-R600VPN
Hardware Version: V4
Firmware Version:

Hello good.

I have always used a VPN for home use between multiple family members.

I bought R600vpn and since it is a professional router, I have more options than traditional routers.

I have a question....

What is the difference between configuring a VPN in "Client-to-lan" mode or configuring it in "lan-to-lan" mode?

As I have read, "client-to-lan" is for a person to connect to the VPN with software.

The "lan-to-lan" switch is a direct connection between 2 routers.

That means that if you configure the R600vpn as "lan-to-lan" no user will be able to connect to the vpn if they use a mobile or a computer?

Hi @BDPR

Thanks for posting in our business forum.

It does not conflict between the two types of VPN. You just need to host two different servers for different purposes.
