HEY Broadband - Connecting Deco X50
Hio
I have just changed to HEY Broadband, do I have to change the modem settings through HEY broadband so I can connect my DECO like I had to do for Virgin Broadband.
Also is it possible to use my oher DECO X50 to plugin the TV's ethernet cable into the DECO so I ca get Internet, Netflix etc through my TV?
Many thanks

Do you really have Deco X50-5G as you specified it in Deco Model, or you have chosen it by mistake and what you have is just plain X50?

OK, so it is Deco X50.
If you had Virgin modem/router to which Main Deco was connected with default settings, you should be able to connect Main Deco to HEY Broadband modem/router without changing anything.
If you did not use default Main Deco settings for Virgin connection, the answer is: it depends. There is not enough information that you provided to answer it.
So, just try connecting Main Deco to HEY Broadband modem/router and see if it works.
You can use Ethernet port on Satellite Deco to connect TV to it by Ethernet cable, and it will work much better than when TV connects by WiFi.

Thanks, I no longer have Virgin Media and now use HEY Broadband with there router.
Do I just plugin main deco into HEY Broadband router. The plugin the TV ethernet cable into the back of the second deco both of which are in another room.
Would this mean I can get internet / Netflix etc through the TV that uses the second DECO?
Thanks fo you help, really appreciate it.

Plugin Main Deco to the HEY router, wait for few minutes and see if Main Deco is online and happy (check LED light, check Deco app). There is no harm to connect Main Deco if it does not have correct configuration - it just won't connect, but that will not impact HEY router or Main Deco itself. It is safe to try.
When Main Deco is good, power on Satellite Deco - it should connect to Main Deco without issues. In Deco app you will see both Deco units online and healthy.
If you got to that point, after that you can connect TV with Ethernet cable to Satellite Deco. On some Smart TVs you may need to specifically turn off WiFi in TV settings, but most will just prefer Ethernet link.
If everything done right, open Satellite Deco page in Deco app and you should see there TV connected to Satellite Deco by Ethernet link.
