Hi all,

I am new here and would like to seek help.

I am using Synology DS 1821+ and would like to upgrade connection to be 2.5Gbe or 10Gbe.

Is there any TP-Link PCIe NIC I can use with the DS 1821+. Do I need any driver to install in

DS 1821+ other than just plug in the card?

Thank you and regards,

JC2024

AFAIK Synology has a certain certified network adapters which are recommended to work with their hardware.

Check the optional accessories in the Synology 1821+ spec section here (bottom of the page).

TP-LInk PCIe NIC would definatelly need a driver to be able to work with.
