Model: TL-SG1016PE
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version:

The SG1016PE has a web interface and even a software interface so seems like it should easily be able to be implemented into the Omada SDN, so will it ever be?

Hi @eblieb

Thanks for posting in our business forum.

For this model, or any model from the product line of the SG1000 series, is not a part of the Omada system. We do not intend to implement the Omada adoption/control to these models.

These models are entry-level layer 2 switches and all controllable models from the Omada product line are layer 2+ or layer 3. This is an obvious distinction from our product team to separate them into layers/levels.

Not to mention that the RAM and other hardware aspects of these models may not meet or catch the minimum hardware requirement of the Omada switch.
