Hello,

 

I already have 2 Deco X20, and I'm planning to add 1 Deco X50. Does it make sense to set the X50 as Main, for better performances?

It does make sense. Also, while adding X50 to your mesh, Deco app may recommend making X50 new Main Deco. If not, the process of promoting new Deco unit to Main Deco described here: https://www.tp-link.com/en/support/faq/2400/
