Have 3 deco. During setup it will find deco wifi but no internet connection.  I use xfinty 1.2 gig, arris sb8200 modem. Pretty sure all are connected correctly. 

Help new to ip-link. Cut xfinty cable for tv. Replaced with erro plu,but way to much lag and drops......so

..

Now want to use tp link.  Any help please

I'm definitely no expert but I had a similar issue with my xe75s. 2 things to try

 

1. Make sure you reboot your router and the deco connect to it after you've connected them up.

 

2. I did a factory reset on mine as the setup seemed to get in a mess. Factory reset and start the config again.

 

Both of these helped me out how they help you also.
