Under Advanced, Network, Internet, there is an option to enable NAT which is enabled by default. My question is what happens when you disable NAT? In testing, it appears that NAT always occurs even if this option is disabled. Does anyone have experience with this than can explain what this option does? Does this create a one-on one NAT?

If NAT is turned off, the router will work on pure-router mode which can transmit data only. Please DO NOT turn it off unless your ISP supports this mode, otherwise you will lose Internet connection.
Thank-you for your response. Looking at this further, I noticed the SPI firewall is automatically disabled when NAT is disabled. That led me to believe that two-way traffic would be possible but as you stated, the connection to the internet is lost.
Can you give an example of how a "disable NAT" situation might be used? Otherwise, the option is useless and probably shouldn't even appear on the user interface.
