Did set up got to connect extender, asked for password. Every time I put it in stated incorrect password. Will not connect. Both blue light on constant.

Make sure that you're wit the latest FW release for your RE - here.

When you login its WebGUI you can see the connection status:

Hi,

 

The extender has the same WIFI password as your main router.

 

If is still fails to connect, you can forget the network and test again. 

And you can also reset and then reconfigure the range extender.How to set up a TP-Link Range Extender

It is recommended to set up via website or Tether APP, as via WPS may cause this issue: Why is my main router’s wireless password changed after using WPS to setup the Range Extender?
