My Internet is provided by Sky Business Broadband (we work from home) and extended around the home via various RE700X’s.  I use the ethernet connection to connect to a streaming music player (Linn Akurate).  The app to control the streamer works so I have music, but the manufacturer should receive uploads on performance from the streamer but cannot see it.  I am trying to work out whether it is a conflict with the router or the extenders.  The IT support with Linn suggested configuring the RE700X as an access point which I have done.  I’m not sure this has helped though as RE700X is no longer visible via the Tether app – so I don’t know whether I’ve created an issue.  I am unable to connect the extenders via cable to the router so not sure whether changing the operation mode to access point was wise!  Any thoughts / suggestions would be gratefully received.
