Model: Deco PX50
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: Deco PX50(EU)_V1_1.2.2 Build 20231226

I've just upgraded away from a Virgin Media Hub 3 to the Deco PX50.

All is well and the configuration is fantastic.

However I have 2 original Apple HomePods that keep disconnecting from the WiFi. Sometimes they reconnect other times they don't.

I have done the following:

* Upgraded the Deco and HomePods to the latest firmware/iOS

* Changed the WiFi to 5ghz only for the 2 HomePods

* Turned off mesh for the 2 HomePods

* Changed the WiFi to only one of the Deco units for the 2 HomePods

Nothing keeps them connected. My 2 HomePod minis are fine and do not disconnect.

Never had this issue on the Virgin Hub3 but it only supported WPA/WPA2.

any ideas or help greatly received.

  @Radar68

Hi,

Please turn off fast roaming and beamforming on Deco.

Also you can create a 2.4G guest network with WPA/WPA2 or no encryption and test if it can be stably connected.

  @Radar68 Hey buddy, were you able to resolve this issue? We are in same boat with this and it is so frustrating. I had TP link archer C5 and never had this issue before, upgraded to Deco X60 and facing this issue regularly.

  @AnkitVijay

Not as such sorry.
I think that it's the app that is misbehaving rather than the HomePod.
The app doesn't seem to refresh properly and the HomePod is in fact fine.
I have been thru several app upgrades and the latest ones are better than the others in showing all attached devices immediately it's opened.

I cannot find fault with the HomePod connectivity, just it showing up in the app.
Sorry I can't be more specific or positive.
