Firmware Version: 1.1.5 Build 20231228 rel.50972(4341)

Hi - I recently bought this router and have been using it for 2 weeks.

I have an Internet data plan of 500 Mbps download and 500 Mbps upload.

The router is connected to the Internet using the 1Gbps port and I changed the Internet Port Negotiation Speed setting from Auto-Negotiation to 1000 Mbps Full Duplex but the following results were the same regardless of this setting.

With all of my wired computers using the speedtest.net website I observe consistent speeds of 525 Mbps download and 524 Mbps upload.

For all of my wireless devices (Apple iPhones and iPads) I am using the speedtest app.

I am standing 4 feet from the router for these tests:

iPhone 15 Pro (6 GHz): 523 Mb/s download and 195 Mb/s upload

iPhone 14 Pro Max (5 GHz): 421 Mb/s download and 177 Mb/s upload

iPad Pro 13" M4 (5 GHz): 520 Mb/s download and 189 Mb/s upload

iPad Pro 13" M4 (6 GHz): 523 Mb/s download and 232 Mb/s upload

iPad Pro 10.5" (5 GHz): 380 Mb/s download and 144 Mb/s upload

iPhone SE (2nd Gen) (5 GHz): 524 Mb/s download and 162 Mb/s upload

iPhone SE (1st Gen) (5 GHz): 266 Mb/s download and 185 Mb/s upload

Do you know what might be causing the wireless devices to get less than half the performance of download?

Thanks

Hi, thanks for posting question on our commmunity.

Did you enable QoS on the router? If it is enabled, please disable it then test the wireless internet speed. If it is disabled, please enable then test again.

And please share your ISP and the model of your modem.

The support engineers will analysis better according to your further feedback.  Thanks for your cooperation.

Hi,

QoS is disabled.

I enabled it and set the download and upload limit to 525 Mbps each.

I configured my iPad Pro M4 to the highest priority in QoS.

iPad Pro 13" M4 (6 GHz): 423 Mb/s download and 199 Mb/s upload

ISP is TELUS

Modem is Actiontec T3200M  with Wireless disabled

Thanks
