Model: TX401
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version:

Installed tx401 in second pcie_16 slot on Asus B350 Prime mobo, confirmed NIC running as pcie2 x4.

When my Win 11 computer goes to sleep, the TX401 NIC still responds to icmp. I have verified the setting is enabled to allow computer to turn off the NIC to save power under power management tab in NOC properties. The power management tab is also configured to require magic packet to wake the computer. When I send a WoL magic packet, the computer wakes from sleep mode without issue.

I have installed latest driver from tp-link site, version 3.1.6 and win 11 fully updated. Previous NIC always powered off when computer entered sleep mode.

The Windows log show the computer is entering sleep mode, then a second later "Marvell AQtion 10Gbit Network Adapter : Network link is lost".Then a second later, it says "The system has resumed from sleep." but the computer remains in sleep mode. While the computer is in sleep mode, the TX401 responds to icmp. When a magic packet is sent to the NIC to wake the computer, there is an entry in the system log showing "Marvell AQtion 10Gbit Network Adapter : Network link has been established at 2.5Gbit/s Full Duplex."

When computer is in sleep mode, ping times between 4-6 ms, send WoL magic packet while pinging and 2 x "Request timed out" and then ping times back to 1 ms response time. If I unplug Cable from TX401, pings fail so not due to duplicate IP address, it is the TX401 that is responding to ICMP.

I have seen postings re newer driver on Marvel site but wanted to check here first to see if any solution prior to firmware/driver update from Marvel site.
