Hi @whiskyweb

Thanks for posting in our business forum.

It looks like you need Policy Routing for the OVPN. Not very certain about your description.

Thanks for your reply.

Tunnel #1 is for routing to vpn in Spain, #2 is for connection to UK => to view local Netflix offering.

but ... I discovered OpenVPN does not disguise my original ip. I was PPTP advised but that does not hide my ip either. When I do a 'show my ip' it shows a British ip, but the streaming server still sees my home country. So what should I do to hide the origin of my traffic, so I can stream to my delight?

You should use the full tunnel mode which you can enable it from the server. If you cannot control this if you use your router as an OVPN client, then you need to reconsider the VPN server.

But when you use it in full tunnel mode, all traffic in the selected network will go to the server end.

At this moment, it is not possible to use Policy Routing at this moment.

Thanks, again, So … I can not hide my original ip address if I can not control the vpn-server, which I can’t ? Or should I use PTPP or IPsec as protocol? W.

PPTP is an obsolete VPN protocol. I would not recommend you use it.

L2TP is possible to configure it. But you are required to set it up in this way:

How to configure Omada Gateway as a PPTP/L2TP VPN Client to enable the VPN Server as Proxy Gateway for backend clients

Policy routing is also possible to be done with the L2TP VPN tunnel.
