Model: Deco X20
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version: 1.2.4 Build 20231206 Rel.32618

Here's  my setup:
ZTE UniFi Modem --> Deco x20 (primary) --> Deco x20 (room 2) --> Deco x20 (room 3) --> TV, Mobile, Labtops.

- ZTE UniFi Modem to Deco x20 (primary) connects on port 1.

- Deco x20 (primary) to Deco x20 (room 2) / Deco x20 (room 3) connects via wireless.

I am attempting to utilise my labtops by connecting it to the Deco x20 (primary) on port 2 using an Ethernet CAT 5e cable. However, the message "Not Connected" is displayed.

Additionally, I attempted to establish a connection to the Deco x20 (rooms 2 and 3) via Ethernet CAT 5e cable, with port 1 or port 2. The status indicator indicated "Connected."

Does anyone have experience with a comparable issue and have a solution to provide advice on how to resolve the Deco x20 (primary) port 2 being able to connected via laptops?

  @BHH

Hi

From the screenshot, it appears that you set port 2 for living room as the IPTV port, so it cannot be used for laptop network connection. It is recommended that you click IPTV/VLAN > Port 2 for living room > choose none > save. And then you can use an Ethernet cable to connect port 2 to the laptop.

I appreciate your assistance; it is now operational.

What is the process for configuring an X20 link with Range Extenders that operate on the same channel?

  @BHH The Deco is not aware that a Range Extender is present.  You have only to configure the Range Extender.
