Model: Archer AX21
Hardware Version: V4
Firmware Version: 1.1.0 Build 20230725 Rel. 55602(5553)

Hello,

I have the Archer AX21 v4.6 (US) version. Upon installing it yesterday and trying to enable these options, I couldn't find them anywhere on the settings page for the router. I tried everything, restoring to factory defaults and configuring again, turning off and on wireless networks, etc. Nothing worked.

The overview page shows compatibility with such options, but how do I make sure these are turned on?

Besides that, I'm new to networking, this is my first 3rd party router, isn't this router compatible with 160MHz Channels given that it is 802.11 ax?

Hoping someone may have the answer, thanks in advance!

It seems that these features are not implemented in the AX21 v4.6.

They are not mentioned / included in its user guide nor its emulator.

It doesn't support 160Mhz channel width on its 5GHz band - check its Wi-Fi reception sensitivity - here.

AX21 is branded as AX1800 - 160MHz channel width is supported on AX3000 and above branded devices.

Hey,

Thank you for responding.

However, I found this datasheet on TP Link's website and it says it does include OFDMA and TWT right on the second page, Highlights sections. Isn't this page referring to the same version I have? Does this mean it is a false advertisement or am I just unlucky for receiving version 4.6?

Naming is confusing, but there's no way that's not the one I bought. So I spent +$20 getting the AX21 over the AX10 for no reason? Quite unhappy with TP-Link so far.

Thanks again!

Your observation is correct. There are some router models that have their MU-MIMO setting enabled by default and this setting is not shown in their WebGUI.

Maybe this is the case here (for OFDMA and TWT) - this could be confirmed only by a TP-Link representative.

Hi, after confirmation,  Archer AX21(US) V4.6  supports OFDMA/TWT/MU-MIMO but they are enabled by default, so there is nowhere to edit.
