Model: Deco M4
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: 1.6.2 Build 2024030

My fibre comes to the top of the house where I have the first Deco 4.  There are three other Deco 4 units around the house to act as a mesh.  However, I want my desktop (downstairs) to specifically connect to the first Deco as it then has a considerably higher speed.  I did this by switching off the other Decos and then on the app page for my desktop turning off "Mesh Technology".  I then switched on the other Decos.  All was well for a while, but the desktop then connected to one of the other Decos (perhaps because it has a stronger signal, although slower).  How can I maintain my desktop connected to a desired Deco?  Isn't that what Disabling Mesh technology is supposed to do?.
