Broadcast EAP225 to a RE Mode Archer A5 for LAN Connection
This is my current Topology:
1) Fiber ISP Modem/Router LAN1 > 4G/5G Wifi Modem (For Cellular Back up) WAN, then LAN1 > TP Link AX23 > Home1 Network and IoT (Wired and Wireless).
This works very Fine with me now as everything handshakes automatically when Main ISP Goes Down or Up. Not needing the ER605 Multi WAN just yet.
I want to Connect an EAP225 to Broadcast to Home2 about 70m away with a Hidden SSID. Adding to Topology:
2) Fiber ISP Modem/Router LAN2 > EAP225 Broadcasting Hidden SSID > to be Received by an RE Mode TP Link Archer A5..
My Questions are:
a) Is number 2 a possible connection for Archer A5 to receive thru hidden SSID from EAP225?
b) If it's possible, Can i turn off the 2.4G and 5G Broadcast of the Archer A5 so i can only use the LAN ports from Archer A5 for Connection?
c) Will the Gadgets connected to Archer A5 at Home2 be able to access the gadgets at Home1? I was hoping not.
d) If i Connect EAP225 to my 4G//5G Wifi modem, i think it will also consume my Cellular Data Back up in case main ISP goes down, Will it? what would you
suggest as i don't want it to consume because it is a limited Data resource only. Would connecting it to my Fiber ISP be fine?
When I'm connected to my Home1 Archer AX23, I can access both the WebUI of my Fiber ISP and 4G/5G Wifi Modem.
a) Will the Gadget connected to Archer 5 at Home 2 be able to do this? I was also hoping not.
b) Does the EAP225 or the Archer A5 have the Guest Network SSID to be able to prevent this WebUI Access?
Thank you very much for the Answers and any Recommendations will be much appreciated. Not much of a networking
guy and all those Routers/Modems were just plugged and played by me. I think internet says im NATted or Double NATted
or even Triple NATted because all those Modem/Routers are on Enabled DHCP mode. Am I? Thank you.
