Even though the built-in search on the router's UI takes you to the expected System > Administration menu, there's nothing there related to any certificate.

The router doesn't provide a way to download it.

This should be easily accessible to allow connecting locally to manage router via HTTPS without warning screen on browser.

TP-Link uses self-signed certificates - ther's nothing to download.

If you already configured HTTPS access, use this guide for accessing the router's WebGUI.

If you want to enable WebGUI HTTPS access use this checks:

Even if TP-Link uses a self-signed certificate, they can provide the certificate file to avoid and extra screen and two clicks every time you access the router's login page.

Have seen the UI of other routers and they have a "Download" button to get the certificate file, but mine doesn't.

I'm not connecting remotely, but locally on my LAN.

Even when setting a permanent exemption on the browser I still get the warning page.

You could disable WebGUI HTTPS access for local management only. Thus the browser warning message shouldn't appear anymore.

If this was helpful click on the arrow pointing upward to make it blue. If this solves your issue, click the star to make it blue and mark the post as a "Recommended Solution".
