Be550 when turning on dmz sends the connection wappy and from slowing down to to not working even if the chosen device is offline.

Could you please provide more details about this issue? Do you mean the internet speed will slow down after DMZ is enabled?

If you need to open certain ports for certain devices, you can also set up virtual server and check if the issue still exists then.
