Hello.

Just, to let you know. Feel free to be technical in the response, i work as a software engineer.

So to my issue. I have 2x m4v2 and 2x m5. It WAS setup m5(main)->m4 and m5(main)->m5->m4.

When i originally setup the network all of them connected to the main node.I wanted to move the m4 to the second m5 node and somehow i did.
Today, i was in a teamsmeeting. Video and audio was bad. Checked the decos, they had gone back to original configuration. aka star config.(All on main deco)
There is now no way to set the m4 to connect to the 2nd m5 node. I cannot find the option on the m4 decos.

Deco M5 official firmware has the feature (Connection Preference) that allows to configure how Deco units connect to each other. M4 - does not. For that feature to be available in Deco app, all Deco units must support it.

If you don't mind installing beta firmware for M4 that has this feature, you'll find it here: Deco M4/S4_V2 Support Connection Preference

Also, here is how to use that feature when it appears in Deco app: How to select a preferred signal source on the Deco App
