Model: TL-WA850RE
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: 2.0

The searching light was only blinking but it could not detect the wireless to lit up the whole circle, not even using the LAN. Does it mean the extender isn't compatible with the router or do I have to set anything such as IP address, proxy, or other adjustments? please guide

Hi,

Do you mean the RE light is blinking?

If you want to use WPS to connect to the front router, please also press the WPS button on the router. Then they can pair.
