Hello,
Is there a way to change the LAN name from TP-LINK_E821F6 in a custom name? I did change the SSID but on wired connection under the Connection name appears TP-LINK_E821F6.

One idea is to change hostname in WAN settings but I'm not sure the effects.

Didn't found that option in settings. Using latest firmware for my version of router.
I did found a temporary workaround modified the registry, but this is only on my pc :)

In network/wan/change the connection type to dhcp and the hostname will appear. Be sure to have your current PPPoE username and password because probably you will have to remake the settings for wan back.

My TP-Link Archer C1200 does not have "newtwork/wan" anywhere, it has only LAN. Is it possible to change the name of LAN (when the connection is wired, not wireless) on that model at all? Would appreciate any pointers. Many thanks!

@Klpville I have similar issue. Want to change the LAN Name but I don't know where to do that. Can someone advise ?
