Model: ER605 (TL-R605)
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version:

We have an ER605 to set up here, connecting to an NBN box. The ISP have provided a VLAN number and it all mostly works. However, anything other than HTTP/HTTPS traffic is just dropped, that is for example, connecting to a remote SSH server from within the LAN doesn't work. This would seem to be a pretty fundamental setup step but it's not easy to find documentation on it. Help would be appreciated.

Hi @emueyes

Thanks for posting in our business forum.

Recommend you consider the firewall settings on your server that is being accessed.

If a diagram can be provided to illustrate the SSH server, that would be great.

If you believe this is a problem with the router, you can Wireshark on the computer that is using SSH to access the server and review how it ends.

But by default the router does not interfere with the connection regardless of whether it is SSH or not.
