Hi,

 

Currently I am using Hitron Coda modem in Canada. I am planning to make it bridge mode and use AXE75 or AX73 as my wifi router. I usually reboot my Hitron Modem once a week. So my question is when I make Hitron into Bridge mode and use TP Link AXE75 or AX73 as my router -> Can I just turn off both together then wait for 30 seconds and then just power on both together? Or the Modem has to be turn on 1st then wait for 3-4 mins and then turn on AXE75/AX73?

 

So question is does the boot order really matter?

Usually it's better to reboot the modem first even if it's in bridge mode.

Usually it's better to reboot the modem first even if it's in bridge mode.

When you say modem has to be started first then how long should I wait after booting modem to power on the router?

I would wait for no more than a minute.

After the LEDs on your modem become stable, you may power on the router.
