Hi,

i'll buy 3 EAPs to use with omada. I'll also buy an ER605.

I need to create more ssid for different vlans in each EAP, maybe HOME, GUEST and IOT.

My question is, can i connect EAPs to a simple unmanaged 4 ports switch and then connect it to ER605? Will be vlan tag passed from EAPs to ER605 and viceversa? or it will be dropped?

More, do you see any contraindication doing it?

I will pass tagged(trunk) VLAN to the EAP and vice versa.

Any TP-Link unmanaged switch will allow VLAN passthrough. It does not drop any of the VLAN.
