Model: Archer BE550
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.0.11 Build 20240807 rel.25691(4555)

Hi all,

Just got the BE550 set up and I'm using my old AX6000 as a wired access point in the garage.

Got it set up no problem, same wifi SSID details and it was working fine.

However, every hour or so, the connection seems to drop.

It still shows as connected and my phone can see the network but it cannot connect.

Only a reboot of the AX solves it. Done this 3 times now.

Will I have better look with an easy mesh compatible router?

  @Djkp

AX6000 in AP mode (Case 1) shoud do the job pretty straightforward - doubleck your AX6000 configuration and the ethernet cable.

Of course you can always use an Easymesh capable router with the same purpose.
