Hello,

I believe I have a hardware failure but I wanted to check and see if there was a possibitlity it is not.  I have tp-link 10g TL-SM5310-T RJ45 modules in all for SFP ports on the switch.  25 is working fine, 26 does not get a link light or work at all, 27 and 28 are in a static link going to an EAP783.

I have tried all of the RJ45 modules in port 26 and none of them work in that port so i do not believe the RJ45 module is the issue.  I have also noticed in the course of investigating the issue that as I plug and unplug from port 26, port 27 often will briefly loose its connection but it comes back.

Am I missing something or is it likely that the switch is just bad?

Thanks!

Ok, I had not noticed that the switch got a new firmware this week.  I guess I'm dumb for having the auto updates on.  I rolled back the firmware and the problem goes away.

We noticed something was not right with the new firmware.

We are looking into the new releases for the Omada switch adapting to V5.14.

If you just updated it, please revert to the previous firmware.
