Hi I'm not technically minded at all, I bought this hoping to improve the poor sky wifi I have. 

It is showing I have 0 online clients??

How can I add any?

And please dumb down replies as I'm a total novice to this

You're adding a client when you connect a wireless device to the RE220 wireless SSID.

Here's how to configure RE220 using the WPS method.
