I recently upgraded my home WiFi to ghz speed and have an X55 3 pack that are working fine. I have an older DSL E4R pack and would like to know if the models are compatible. I want to put the E4R's in my shed, and garage. I tried to add the E4R's thru the deco app, but it does not see/find the E4R's. Pls note I have the X55 set at 5GHz

Hi, welcome to our community.

Different Decos can work together.

When addding E4, please power it on in the same room where the main X55 is. After setting it up successfully, you may relocate to the place you want.
How to add an additional unit to your Deco network

Can different Deco models work together?

@Marvin_S  this is exactly what I have done but the deco app, while searching for the other decos (E4R) does not find them. I've tried powering them on and off. I even had them next to the deco base connected to the router.

Hi, here are some further suggestions for your reference:

1. Make sure factory reset was taken first.

2. You may turn on 2.4GHz and 5GHz of the current Deco network temporarily on app to confirm whether it helps.

3. Please connect Deco E4 to your main Deco via an Ethernet cable and set it up for a try.

Thank you and best regards.
