Hi everyone...

 

I don't know if this is the right place to post my question!

 

I want to upgrade my existing Deco M9 Plus system with an new extra additional unit, that will act as the main unit.

I have 3 Deco M9 Plus units now and it covers my house with no issues!

 

So here is my questions:

 

  • Is it possible to add a newer Deco main unit, with better security features?
  • What Deco unit could work with my M9 Plus system?

All Deco models can work together to set up a Deco mesh network. Can different Deco models work together?

If you are seeking a more advanced Deco, please refer to the official website and choose according to your needs. Deco M9 Plus belongs to WiFi5 gen product, so you may consider WiFi6/6E or even WiFi7 series.

I upgraded from M9 plus to Deco X60 V3.2 as main Deco, can highly recommend the X60 or a lot of chat on here is about the Deco X50/55 which seem to be good as well.

BT Full fibre 500, 1x X60 V3.2 in router mode and 1 x XE75Pro V2.

Hi, and thanks for the information. I just ordered a pair of Deco BE65, they were on sale. That should keep me safe a good while ;-)) The remaining M9 plus units will be used elsewhere in the house.
