No LAN connectivity when internet is down
Hi, I believe the title explains it all. I have nothing fancy except a local Adguard Home installation, which is configured as a DNS server on the LAN level (in DHCP settings). Everything else is set to default, and I have approximately 25 clients, most of whom are connected via Ethernet through a TPLink switch.
When the internet connection fails, the LAN connection also goes down. Consequently, I am unable to ping 192.168.68.203 from 192.168.68.204 since they are both connected via cable. I have tried rebooting the Deco’s, removing the DNS settings, but nothing has resolved the issue. However, when I reboot the internet modem, everything returns to normal, including the LAN connection. The Ethernet cable from my ISP is connected to the first Ethernet port.
I spent the entire morning trying to understand what’s happening, and it’s quite frustrating. How can I ensure that I have a LAN connection even when there’s no internet connection?
