Deco M5 offline
Deco M5 offline

My satelite Deco M5 is now listed as 'offline' on the app. It has a green solid light. I've moved it close to the main Deco and rebooted it. Any ideas welcome.

Please update firmware to latest from Google Play or Apple Store on your phone. You may also check on another phone.
May I confirm whether the Deco network runs properly? Is the problem only that the satellite Deco shows offline on Deco app?
If so, we may need to colloect some information for further analysis:
1. Please share the screenshot of the "offline" page on your Deco app.
2.What is Deco app version? What is the model and OS of your phone?
3. Please share us the app log referring to the thread. When emailing us, please include your Forum ID, community nickname, a detailed description of the issue, and the troubleshooting steps you’ve taken in the subject line or body of your email.

Thanks for getting back to me. I've attached the screenshot. The Deco app version is 3.8.88. I have a Samsung Galxy S24+ phone, using Android 14

Hi, can the satellite Deco work properly actually? Can your client devices connect to it properly?
If so, only the Deco app shows incorrect information, and we recommend sharing app log following this thread.
If not, it is not due to the Deco app, you may refer to this guide to troubleshoot.

@Marvin_S Same here. Main Deco M5 fine. Satellites x 5 offline. Rebooting satellites becomes unstable again. Moving satellites to the same room makes no difference. All show green light. latest IOS App. Latest Deco firmware. All WiFi clients seem to be feeding off main Deco. Obvious buffering when streaming music. App suggests unable to check for update. This has been an issue for 4 weeks.

Thanks for your response. Same issue persists following the App refresh in the past few days.
Satellites randomly appear offline in the App after optimisation. Downstairs satellites appear online whereas Kitchen satellite in the next room to the Main Deco appears offline. Very random which satellites appear offline though all show greeen light even after rebooting.

Thanks, but I answered all these questions before. This has taken 2 months, which is shoddy service by any measure I'm afraid.

However, I am afraid that we did not get all the information we need. Also, we did not receive any email about app log, till now.
To better understand your situation, may I confirm some necessary details again?
1. Does only "landing" Deco shows offline on Deco app, right?
2. May I confirm whether the Deco network runs properly actually? Are client devices connected to "landing" Deco normally even it shows offline on Deco app?
3. Please click on "Show Map" referring to the screenshot below and share the corresponding screenshot.
4. Did you follow steps in "The Satellite Deco network is unstable or loses internet suddenly." in the guide one by one? And what are the detailed results? Especially, did you
swap the location of the satellites in case the disconnection follows a specific Deco?
