Model: TL-SG2428P
Hardware Version: V5
Firmware Version: 5.20.6 Build 20241205 Rel.64944

Hi Support Team,

I encountered a wierd issue, where one of our Omada switches connected to the controller suddenly stopped sending the POE to all ports, and the only ports active, are not linked to any POE devices.

The only workaround is to manually reboot the switch by unplugging and plugging the power supply, as the Omada controller was also connected to the switch and it went down.

Please investigate I need an instant RMA, as sending it to the service center and getting a replacement model will take time, which will hamper the client.

Attached the device diagnostic file.

Regards,
Sk Shabbir

Hi @skshabbir

Thanks for posting in our business forum.

1. Do not paste your MAC address publicly. And do not upload such files here.

2. For the RMA, contact your local support regarding this. Forum does not offer help or support on RMA-related issues.

We recommend you test the switch with a single PoE device with a 3 ft cable. If it works after hours of tests without failing to provide power, it could be the cable or overloaded with PoE. You can resolve this based on the test results.
