I have just got hyperfibre installed with the new modem and I am trying to connect two Be65 units to it as the signal is a bit week outside and downstairs. However the supplied app does not recognise the units as not Aginet and the decco app does not recognise the router.

Any ideas how to get around this - at the moment I have just plugged one in used that to make a second network for downstairs but not ideal.

Hi, welcome to our community.

HB810 is customized model by some ISPs only, which can only be configured and managed via Aginet APP.

But, Deco devices can only be configured and managed by Deco app.

Thank you and best regards.

I spent a bit of time on this with TP Link support and can confirm that they are incompatible. It's a good enough reason to stick with Ubiquiti in my case.

@RachaelA @ABSID @Japumpy The HB810 uses EasyMesh. The Deco BE65 by default uses Deco Mesh. The two are different mesh technologies & don't interoperate. There is some work TP-Link has shared about some (not all) versions of the Deco X50 and X55 models now supporting (maybe only in betaware?) both Deco Mesh and EasyMesh on the one device; https://community.tp-link.com/en/home/forum/topic/796244 If the Deco BE65's get a future update to also support EasyMesh, then you will be able to add them to the HB810's network via the Aginet APP (as the HB810 is your Hyberfibre (NZ?) gateway). @MArvin_S - any plans for such a firmware update on the Deco BE65's?

Is there any way I can connect my new Deco mesh to my current Aginet Wi-Fi and extend the signal? Any guide, please?
