i just bought netgears wireless adapter N-300 usb wna3100 its installed correctly and drivers are updated. it wont read my comcasts routers wireless signal. the comcast router is the smcd3gnv do i have to buy netgears wireless router?

the device which is called wireless adapt is used to link signal.and not everything can be called wireless adapt.If it can't transmit signal,throw away is good for you.
