Wi-Fi adapter appears in Network connections only when ethernet cable pluged in.

When i turn on PC in network connections there is only ethernet connection, there is no wi-fi adapter in devices. Wi-Fi adapter appears only when i connect ethernet cable to motherboard. What could cause it? Adapter connected to USB 3.0 port. Windows 11.
