Region : UnitedKingdom

Model : TL-WR702N

Hardware Version : V1

Firmware Version : v1.2

ISP : Virgin

Despite what the manual says, I am unable to find any sub-menus for the Wireless settings.

For example, I would like to add MAC filtering, to add an extra security layer, but the menu that I need to be able to do this with is missing.

I recently updated the firmware to the latest downloadable version.

Thanks for your replies.

I have been trying to use it in Repeater mode, so that I can connect a wired device and wireless devices from a bedroom to my main wireless network (the wireless devices don't always get a strong signal from my main AP).

I also have a TL-WA701ND which performs the same functions and have now decided, at least for now, to use this as above, as this has Universal Repeater access with MAC filtering. The 702 is currently set up only as a Client for an IP camera I occasionally use.

When I posted my query, I had been setting up both TP-LINK devices and may have become confused, as I was working on two devices with pretty much the same set of menus, although the menu options for the two are slightly different.

On the 702, when set to AP or Bridge mode, the MAC filtering menu is visible. Still not sure why, in Repeater mode, the 702 lacks the facility to set up MAC filtering when it seems to be available on the 701.
