i have the same problem with my adapter V1 and router wdn4300 and Windows 8.1!
all my gadgets see 5ghz signal, smartTV and smartphones, except adapter!
then i switch my router in 5ghz only, restart the computer and then my adapter sees 5ghz for 1-2 minutes, and lost the connection, don't see, hmn, why?
by the way, when i switch the adapter to 5ghz only, he see all dual band, heh, why?
does anyone have any ideas about these situations? please help
