Hardware Version: V3
Firmware Version:

Hi everyone!

I’m having issues with my TP-Link M7350 mobile router. When I use this router, I can’t connect to my work computer via VPN (WireGuard). However, when I connect my laptop to any other internet source, the VPN works perfectly, so I suspect it’s a router setting issue.

What I’ve Tried So Far:

✅ Security setting WPA2 (the only available option)

✅ Tested with WPS on and off

✅ Tried with and without a PIN code

Despite these changes, the VPN still won’t connect. Does anyone know what could be causing this?

Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance! 😊

Hi, welcome to our community.

It is suggested to follow the troubleshooting steps below:

1. On the web UI, go to Advanced>>DHCP Server, change Primary DNS Server/Secondary DNS Server as 8.8.8.8/8.8.4.4

2. On the web UI, go to Advanced>>Dial-up >>Dial-up Settings, change PDP Type as IPv4 for a try.

3. As WireGuard  usually uses UDP ports, it is suggested to contact the ISP of your sim card to confirm whether VPN traffic is restricted, especially UDP ports.

4. Or you may try to switch protocols or ports in the VPN client (if WireGuard supports configuration changes).

5. Take the sim card out of M7350 and insert it into your mobile phone, turn on Hotspot on your phone, and connect your PC to the Hotspot to confirm whether the VPN works.

Thank you and best regards.
