Hello Guys,
I have a problem with my TL-WR841N. I enabled Remote Management with 255.255.255.255 and i setted it to port 8080. When i try to connect from internet, the router asks me username and password. I wrote correctly but them appair me this words: "You have no authority to access this router!".
I haven't this problem in my LAN.

Seem to be a bug of firmware!:mad:

Please Help me and thank you in advance!

Hi, ivan78!

I had the same error message when I tried to log in remotely to my router using a DNS name ( http://fqdn:8080). Try using IP address ( http://x.x.x.x:8080) and see if that works.
I found it annoying, as well as the fact that there is no option to use SSL when the router is managed from WAN. :mad:

All the best,
Janis

My guess is that you're attempting to access the router "remotely" while you're actually still at home (or wherever this router is). Even though it seems like it shouldn't matter, the router won't let you log in through the WAN if the request is originated from a computer within the LAN. However, if you try accessing it from some third-party IP address (such as your smart phone or a work computer or something), you should find that it works just fine.

I can't use the following scheme? "World_IP --> real_IP(ISP) -> dst_NAT:9090 -> TPLINK_ISP_Local_IP:8080" It doesn't work! :mad:
