WDR3600 not recognising Lacie d2 USB2

I have a 250GB Lacie d2 USB2 drive, formatted with 2 Journaled HFS+ partitions (190GB, 60GB). It is recognised by my Macbook Pro (Mac OS 10.6.8). It is not recognised by my WDR3600.
I'd be grateful for any suggestions.
