Hi all just a quick question I'm hoping to purchase one of these routers TP-Link TL-WDR3600 with removable antennas, what I'd like to do is replace one with a flat panel antenna and one with a omnidirectional antenna would this work ok?

I don't think this will work. TL-WDR3600 are equipped with 3 identical dual-band antennas. If you replace one with another different type antenna , it's like a chick has one duck-leg, how can it run fast?
