Wifi with Internet connect but not the Router

Hello all !
I have Problems connecting my Router to the Internet.
I use the 1043 only as an Wifi Access Point, that works perfekt.
I can connect to the Internet using Wifi,WAN side is not configured, the 1043 is connected to another router
with a wire.
The Problem ist that the Router itself has no internet connection.
I would need Internet Connection for the router to enable parental control(the time settings).
The NTP Server for matching the time are senseless without internet.
The router is not always on, and everytime switching the router off it looses the manual time settings.
Is there any wayto configure the router to have internet connection without configured WAN but connected to a network with internet access ?

How kind of connection do you have from ISP? Do you have login/password from ISP? Mayby ISP filtering mac addresses in his network? Please more technical details.

The 1043 is wireconnected to my router, internet is online, Internet over Wifi from1043 works well.

TP-Link router firmware programmers are really not good.
When WAN port is not connected, to get date and time, the only work-around is to do a static routing:
Destination Network: NTP Server IP address
Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.255
Default Gateway: Router IP address
