Archer C7 2.4ghz poor signal

I just got the Archer C7 and i miss my old 1043ND .... the signal of the 2.4ghz is too weak with the internal antennas, i knew that 5ghz would be a little weak behind the walls, but where i used to have 80% of my signal using the 1043ND , now with C7 i got 25%. Waste of money this router.
