Region : Others

Model : TL-WA701ND

Hardware Version : V2

Firmware Version :

ISP : Magyar Telekom

Hi all,

I have a little problem with my home network.
Devices:
1 Home gateway (or router, from my ISP, this is the DHCP server) - ZTE
2 Switches - Both TP-LINK TL-SF1008D
2 APs TL-WA701ND
2 set-top boxes in different rooms
1 NAS
1 ps4
2 pc in different rooms
few wireless devices (phones, tablets, etc.)

I'd like to use both APs with the same ssid.
I can't use them as repeaters, because my walls are too wide, and the 2 APs are too far from each other.
I have wired connection in each room, so I need a little advise or help to confgure my APs correctly.

Please, someone help me.

Many thanks!!!
Tommek

4-Operation Mode/ Access Point
Wireless/Wireless Network Name (Also called the SSID) change it to same as Home gateway
Security same too
Network/Static IP
IP Address/by default of 701 it's 192.168.0.254 now you have to find out the IP address of your Home gateway, example lets say it's 192.168.1.1 you have to change the two 701s to same sub-net (the sub-net it's the third number, in this example number 1) change #1 AP to 192.168.1.2 and #2 AP to 192.168.1.3
Because of your walls live everything else as default.
I don't think so, but this is not what I think, in case your Home gateway uses a IP like 10.0.0.1 then the same, change #1 AP to 10.0.0.2 and #2 AP to 10.0.0.3

Thank you for ur help! I'll try today! :)
