WR841HP High Power Router and ANT2415D

Hi !! I have the WR841HP router and the ANT2415D antenna. I have not seen any signal and/or range gain using this antenna. In the control panel of the router there is no place to configure the external antenna only signal power. What am i doing wrong ?? Is this router not powerful enough for the 15 dbi antenna ?? Help please, and thank you very much in advance.
