Why Deco M4R v2 can't install Beta Firmware 1.7.0?

Hi it's me again, I once installed beta firmware 1.7.0 to my m4r v2 and it didn't work. It said that the firmware was incorrect, I tried installing it both from webUI and firmware recovery mode. Both failed. But I see from this forum there are some who have the same hardware as me M4R V2, they managed to install beta firmware 1.7.0 why can't mine?
Note i have 4 deco, E4 v1 3 pcs, M4 v2 (1.6.5 firmware) 1 pcs. Since the E4 had the new 1.7.0 update and can do connection preference, thats why i want my m4 can do the same..

@ryg I think your Deco M4 is V1 not V2 please check it again and send me the picture of the sticker below on Deco M4

@ryg Do factory reset and do the setup again and use Deco M4 as a (Main Unit) and then install the firmware by login the Web UI (192.168.68.1) and when the beta firmware installed successfully then you can do the setup for Deco E4 don't connect Deco E4 before install the beta firmware on Deco M4

@ARGamingPK1 by the way do you had any trouble of error using M4 1.7.0 firmware all this time in your practical use?

@ARGamingPK1 i did before bro.... before i set the M4 as the main deco i factory reset it...and i only turn on my M4 as i upgrading...all the e4 is unpluged...
it said the same wrong firmware....

@ryg No everything working fine for me. You can install this old beta firmware 1.7.0 which was released in January 2024
