Help with allowing remote access
Region : UnitedKingdom
Model : TL-WR1043ND
Hardware Version : V1
Firmware Version :
ISP : Virgin Media
I am trying to configure my WR1043ND to allow me to access a CyberQ BBQ Guru on my network, from outside my network. My WR1043ND is connected to the cable modem which is in slave mode.
I have assigned the device a fixed IP of 192.168.1.103, but I can't get any further. The instructions for setting the device up are here http://www.thebbqguru.com/PDF/CyberQ-WiFi-USER-GUIDE.pdf. It is set up in infrastructure mode and acts as a server.
I've tried to set up access as a virtual server, without success. Could you tell me how to go about setting the router up to allow me to access device remotely from outside my network, please.
