Morning All,

I have a 750RE set up in the spare room with a good 3-4 bars signal strength but it keeps dropping the main connection to the router. It seems to do this when you first try to connect in the mornings. Its not power cuts as the up time shows 5 days and it works perfectly throughout the day? I have noticed this SINCE the firmware upgrade about a week ago

System Up Time: 5 days 18:06:37

Firmware Version: 3.14.8 Build 140401 Rel.41197n

Hardware Version: WA750RE v1 00000000

I am using a mixture of Apple iPads/Phones and Mac books on it.

Its set to use the same security etc at the main router. And I am in Universal mode .

Any helps appreciated!!

EDIT**

HOW ANNOYING IS THIS FORUM WITH RESETTING THE DETAILS! It keeps telling me the Random Question is wrong!! 6 times now!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi,

Did you try to roll back the firmware?
With TP-Link, the new firmwares are not always better...

Hi hispeed,

I updated the firmware as I had the problem out of the box :(

Looking on the web the extenders seem to be very unreliable :(

I bought this range extender recently and have the same issue. Support has recommended I update the firmware so I'm going to try that now.

Did you get yours to work reliably?
